FROM HOMESCHOOL TO UNSCHOOL
Learning to Trust the Learning
REPLAY
With invited guests: Meghan Suniga-Davies & Sue Patterson
Hosted by: Esther Jones and Melissa Crockett-Joyoue
Many parents come to unschooling after first trying a more formal "schoolish" approach to learning at home. We'll be talking about the benefits of an unschooled approach to life beyond school, what that can transition may look like, and ideas to help you navigate the challenges.
In this 90-minute Zoom session, you'll have the chance to engage in personal reflection, interactive discussion, and live Q&A with our experienced guests and hosts.
Together, we'll explore questions like:
- What does it look like if it doesn't look like school?
- What's my role if it's not to make learning happen?
- How do I trust they will actually do anything - what if I think my child will just game all day?
- How will I know they are learning?
- How can I feel more confident and trusting?
