Our Sunday Session Deep Dives are an opportunity to join with experts and other parents to reflect and learn in community. We talk about common unschooling topics with our invited guests in these interactive Zoom sessions, and there is plenty of opportunity for everyone to take part in the conversation. We hope you’ll leave the sessions with new ideas and inspiration for your family’s unique unschooling journey.
The Community Networking Sessions are new and will replicate the wonderful ones we held during the live Summit. Come along for a friendly chat and a chance to connect with others.

Many parents come to unschooling after first trying a more formal "schoolish" approach to learning at home. We'll be talking about the benefits of an unschooled approach to life beyond school, what that can transition may look like, and ideas to help you navigate the challenges.

Deschooling Ourselves
Unschooling naturally requires us to challenge our long-held beliefs about children, learning, parenting and lots more (!). This is incredibly valuable work but it can also be extremely uncomfortable. With our guests, we'll discuss the kinds of things that often come up and some strategies and tools to help you in the process.

Unschooling in a Neurodivergent Family
Many families find themselves unschooling after realising that mainstream education is a poor fit for their children. In this session, we'll be talking about the ways in which self-directed learning is a wonderful opportunity for neurodivergent families, along with the kinds of challenges that might come up. Our experienced guests are neurodivergent parents with neurodivergent unschooled kids / teens.

Technology worries can easily lead to conflict and resistance in an unschooling home. We'll be talking about how we can we approach technology in a way that feels coherent and respectful, and how we can move beyond our knee-jerk reactions in order to better accompany our children.
