Finding Calm, Building Trust
Nervous System Regulation for Unschooling Parents

July 14th, 4pm-5.30pm (UK time)

With Esther Jones

You've read the books and you believe all the theory but it still feels so difficult in practice! This is absolutely normal, because stepping away from mainstream school and mainstream parenting requires a huge paradigm shift. It can take a while for us to genuinely trust the process, and until then, we are likely to feel frequently challenged by the clash of what we want for our children and our ingrained patterns and beliefs.

Together we'll look at why our nervous systems clings on so hard to these old beliefs and patterns and the kinds of fears that typically come up when we step off the beaten path.

And, you’ll learn how to embrace the tricky moments as opportunities for growth and transformation. We'll explore some tools and strategies you can introduce into your days to transform those triggered moments, soothing the anxiety and fear, and helping you build trust in your child and in yourself. You’ll learn to notice when you are reacting out of fear or worry, and when there is a deeper, more authentic desire that you would like to follow instead.
