Many families find themselves unschooling after realising that mainstream education is a poor fit for their children. In this session, we'll be talking about the ways in which self-directed learning is a wonderful opportunity for neurodivergent families, along with the kinds of challenges that might come up.

In this 90-minute Zoom session, you'll have the chance to engage in personal reflection, interactive discussion, and live Q&A with our experienced guests and hosts.

HOSTS:

ESTHER JONES is a mindfulness teacher, deschooling coach and mother of three unschooled children. She is the Co-Founder of The Unschooling Summit, author of The Parent's Handbook to Unschooling Yourself and host of The Unschool Space podcast, in which she explores unschooling with other unschooling parents. 

MELISSA CROCKETT-JOYOUE is a Māori, AuDHD mama of two unschooled neurodivergent children. She is the Co-Founder of The Unschooling Summit and the Founder of Weave ND, an online membership community supporting neurodivergent unschooling families with a focus on capacity building and connection for the parents.
